SPIRITS
Vodka, tequila and rum are the foundation of any home bar, and must-haves for all but the smallest get-together. If you desire a 4th spirit, choose whiskey or gin based on your party plans. When you're ready to expand your repertoire, add gin and whiskey to your essentials list and consider padding the whiskey menu with bourbon and/or a fine scotch. Advanced mixologists will complete their bar with brandy and a selection of liqueurs.

As a general rule, a single 1 liter mixer bottle will make 18-22 mixed drinks. Assume a minimum of 2 drinks per person.
